Samples & evaluation

How do I request samples and in what sizes?

Use the "Request samples" button on any page or the form on the contact page. Sample sizes: laboratory sample: 100–200 g; industrial sample: 500–1000 g; other quantities on request. Tell us the application, base system and the pigment form you need.

Which pigment forms are available?

Every ChemTech pearlescent pigment can be supplied as Loose Powder (standard dry pigment, universal application), PG Powder (wetted, universal application), Aqua Powder (wetted, for water-based systems), DS Powder (wetted, for plastics). The wetted forms use our anti-dusting technology for a cleaner production environment and safer handling. Pigment forms explained →

Can you match an effect I already use?

Yes. Product tables list, for each grade, well-known market products it is close to in visual appearance and technical characteristics. Use the Product Finder to search by code, effect or competitor name, or send us a reference sample for matching. Open the Product Finder →

Do you develop custom or exclusive grades?

Yes. Continuous R&D is part of the business model: custom effects, particle-size fractions and colour matching to a brand book are developed on request, and custom grades can be reserved per customer within a defined segment. Innovation & R&D →

Documents & compliance

Which documents do you provide?

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and a Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for every grade — downloadable or requestable on each product page. For the CTA Series we publish signed regulatory statements on raw-material composition (CT-REG-010), absence of microplastics (CT-REG-001) and the documentation roadmap (CT-REG-011). Product-specific compliance statements are issued on request. CTA compliance summary →

CTA Series

What is the CTA Series?

ChemTech's new generation of artificial (synthetic) mica-based pearlescent pigments — 18 grades in four colour groups (White Luminescence, Silver Stellar, Gold Solaris, Copper Terra). Higher purity and brighter effects than natural mica, no natural-mica mining in the supply chain, microplastics-free, available from stock in all pigment forms. CTA Series →

Are CTA pigments suitable for seed coating?

Yes — fine CTA grades up to 30 µm are used for brand identification, anti-counterfeiting and sowing visibility in seed coatings. A dedicated page covers the regulatory window, documentation and a cost-per-hectare calculator. Seed coating pigments →
